Silly Me

Well! My posts of late have had high degree of seriousness. I have been commenting on social issues, questioning myself and people around. I want this post to be a silly one.. as silly as it could get and so I will tell you about a few silly things I have done or wish to do. I could have named it confessions, but that is far too serious.

Now listing all those won’t be possible in a day. So I start this post at 00:09 29th March 2011. Let us see when I put this up.

1) I have wished at times that I want to do something totally arbit and hence searched for ‘arbit’ on google and ODC, alas they never respected me and never gave me a correct reply.

2) I have also  liked my page on thelazy.info multiple times (the thumbs up button at the bottom you see) to bring it to the top of the list. Abhishek tells me it keeps track of you, but it doesn’t. Just delete the cookies in your browser, change your IP and lo.

3) I once googled “how to waste time” for I had to do something totally arbit.

4) My obsession with arbit goes farther than this. Some of my passwords contain one or the other form of arbit.

5) In my quest to idle away time (I am not so fond of music and hence when I travel, I either observe people around or waste time), I searched my own name in my phonebook multiple times, but obviously didn’t find a single entry to my name.

6) I sometimes feel like shouting at the top of  my voice, but have never been able to.

7) I wish I could say “love you” to a few people around, but given the meanings associated with love, never had the courage to do that.

8 ) I always wished that someone could come and tell me tomorrow is an off or I found a noticed claiming that. Alas, that only happened thrice in school and never at IITD.

9) I once thought of writing a post titled “Why Deepak Vasisht should/would never have a girlfriend?”. That would have been very hilarious and interesting. But that would be too critical of me to publish.Perhaps so critical that I would never have one, once I published that.

Plus, Abhishek, here at thelazy.info, misuses his admin permissions too often to peep into other people’s drafts. So I never started the post.

10) I too peeped at some of Abhishek’s drafts but never found them interesting.

11) I sometimes feel like hugging someone tight and weep/shout/laugh loudly. I never had the chance, and the person whom I would hug would be left in a trance if I ever did.

I feel this post should be posted now(10-4-2011, 11:52pm) for more silliness could come to a part 2 if possible. People would be bored  reading it till here (I won’t mind that. People sometimes write for themselves). Leave a comment if you have something similarly silly(or sillier) about you.

Alas, people have had a heavy dose of thelazy of late. I am delaying the publishing for a day or two. Perhaps, I get something sillier till then.

(April 12,2011 12:41) Shit! People have started posting too often here. I am still waiting to publish it. In the meanwhile, another silly comment. I want to tell Abhishek that he has a very bad grammar, and I hate his use of ‘hain’(हैं) instead of ‘hai’(है) while typing hindi with English alphabet as in ‘tu kya kar raha hain?’ How irritating! Isn’t it?

Also, the spellchecker tells me, arbit is not a valid word. Shit! I had been looking for something that never existed.

Abhishek peeped at it and posted an fb update…. now I am considering the option of writing a post titled, “Why Abhishek Gupta should never have a girlfriend?”…. the more he peeps, the more serious my resolution to write the post….
